Engaged: Rayna & Tim

I finally got to shoot with Amy Fries aka Vaunt. I’ve been dying to shoot with her for so long because she’s so talented in a number of ways and so, so beautiful. I wish I had some better concepts prepared for when I shot with her, but I have two other editorials this week in addition to moving so I dropped the ball a little bit in that department. Still though, our images came out pretty awesome and I adore her and want her to come back ASAP.
Check her out and all her talents in these awesome places:

Right after I graduated from cosmetology school (oh ps, I graduated from cosmetology school), I went to my cousin’s bachelorette party. Natalie and I used to be really, really close, but since we live so far apart now, it’s really hard to stay in touch and hang out like we used to. So anyway, I went to this dinner a week before the wedding and ended up being a bridesmaid. I scrambled to find a grey dress, which as it turns out I owned one, and I also ended up doing Natalie’s hair. I love her so much, if I could, I would drive to her everyday and do her hair in pretty braids. Her wedding was beautiful and Tyler is so amazing to her. So glad I could be there.
In light of the holiday weekend, here’s some behind the scenes images with Hattie Waton, Fae, and the fab Serena doing makeup for one of our recent editorial shoots. <3

So when I shot with Chanelle from Penelope’s Vintage on Sunday, she wore this really awesome skirt, but the thing about it was that it wasn’t a skirt, it was shirt. At first, I wasn’t sure how I felt about it. I mean, I will admit, sometimes Chanelle wears things that just really don’t speak to me, but this one could go either way. Now, we shot and did our thing and then on the way home she told me how Christian (the bf) made fun of her shirt/skirt and how she saw it on Chictopia and thought it was cool. So I get home and I’m editing our photos and I must say now, this look has really grown on me. And of course, I did what I usually do when I like something, I research it. I found this neat DIY post on how to tie it and I think I might have to rock this when I get my JC wedges in the mail. Travis won’t notice if I steal one or two of his work shirts, right?

I’m still shooting with Penelope’s Vintage pretty regularly. This girl is blowing up right now so make sure you check out her site here. And keep your eyes out for the new stuff I shot with her today. Xoxo
