I’m still shooting with Penelope’s Vintage pretty regularly. This girl is blowing up right now so make sure you check out her site here. And keep your eyes out for the new stuff I shot with her today. Xoxo

I’m ashamed to admit that I’m so far behind on my work. School in addition to the weddings have really taken a toll on my creative work, but I am catching up so you’ll be seeing more of these posts pretty soon. I’m working on a lot of editorials right now for some really cute magazines, but more on that later. For now, I hope you enjoy these images of the ever stunning and incredible, Mynxii White (and Kitty the dog!).

Married: Victoria & A.J.

Victoria and A.J. are easily one of the most beautiful couples I’ve ever seen. And I’m not one to just throw those words around, but being with them and seeing them together, it’s so obvious how much they love each other. Everyone and everything around them feeds off their love and it just multiplies and gets sent back their way. It’s magical, really.

Beautiful day. Beautiful wedding.  Beautiful couple. What’s better than that?

About inspiration

“The advice I like to give young artists, or really anybody who’ll listen to me, is not to wait around for inspiration. Inspiration is for amateurs; the rest of us just show up and get to work. If you wait around for the clouds to part and a bolt of lightning to strike you in the brain, you are not going to make an awful lot of work. All the best ideas come out of the process; they come out of the work itself. Things occur to you. If you’re sitting around trying to dream up a great art idea, you can sit there a long time before anything happens. But if you just get to work, something will occur to you and something else will occur to you and something else that you reject will push you in another direction. Inspiration is absolutely unnecessary and somehow deceptive. You feel like you need this great idea before you can get down to work, and I find that’s almost never the case.”

homestretch

So the new freshman class started at school on Monday. That means I’m officially in the homestretch! Longest year of my life.

I’ve been so busy lately; it’s exhausting. I had a shoot with Penelope’s Vintage on Monday. It was easy and as awesome as always. I adore Chanelle and everything she does. She’s such a cool person to work with on a regular basis.

I shot with a Zivity Model from Oakland, Lisa Price, on Sunday. I wanted to go to Ink n Iron, but I didn’t fully decide what I wanted to do until it was too late. It didn’t turn out so bad though because the pictures came out awesome.

Other than that, I have no news to report on. Travis and I had a lunch outside a couple days ago and I stole some shots of Holly (the dog) and the garden at his parents house. I also have a wedding on Saturday so be on the look out for images from that.
